Democratic League of Kosovo leader Isa Mustafa has talked about talks with Vetevendosje Movement for the possible ruling coalition.
Mustafa in RTV21 has indicated that with Vetevendosje they have not discussed the division of ministries and, according to him, ministries will not share according to specific areas.
“We have not talked to Vetevendosje, I have seen various statements, different scriptures about which minister should meet which party, but these are more issues of desire because we have to sit down and think we should take proportional responsibility and not prefer an orientation for one party to take a certain field, and the other party assigned because then two governments within a government. As far as anyone has demanded, we have no truth because I have not asked any VV or VV ministries to ask for”, Mustafa said.
Furthermore, Mustafa has indicated that, according to the weight of the prime minister's position, the LDK must meet more ministries.
The “also now should be, as the prime minister's position weighs more than the ministries, but again we will discuss it as a matter and see how to make division because we have the prime minister, the deputy prime minister, since we have less ministries, we need less deputy ministers. We do not coalition with the PDK, we have the General Council's decision to negotiate with the VV because there is general will”, Mustafa said further.
He has indicated that the LDK goes into opposition if no agreement is reached with Vetevendosje, leaving the failure of an agreement open as a possibility.
If not achieved, the LDK goes into opposition, but in no case goes with other subjects, we will not use any other route, no other coalition, if we find solutions with Vetevendosje. The very fact that we're conducting negotiations, this shows that the work is not done, but when you're negotiating then you can't declare it done because people can say all kinds of things. There can be no winners here, either the two sides will be winners, or we will have no” agreements, Mustafa said.
Meanwhile, each three days are continuing expert-level meetings between the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement for the achievement of the ruling coalition.
