Eagerly expected that for many years this move has been introduced by the ruling conservatives in Poland as a result of their good relations with the Trump administration.
Quoting American Ambassador to Warsaw Georgette Mosbacher, Duda stressed that the official announcement of this issue is expected today in Washington.
“I thank US President Donald Trump, who had promised a year earlier that Poland would be admitted to the visa removal programme before the end of its” mandate, he stressed.
The announcement was made at the best moment for the Polish president, who is preparing to be re-elected in the spring for a second term. / ATSH/
