CEC Chairman Valdete Daka has said the voting process has so far gone well with some irregularities, which she said responsible bodies such as Kosovo Police and the State Prosecutor deal with.
Daka has also compared the number of voters to the 2017 elections.
The voting process is continuing without any problem that would damage this election process. Also relying on data that has been submitted from 2491 polling or about 98 per cent of them, the number of eligible citizens voting by 1500 is 554 thousand and 750 voters, or 29.28 per cent from 1 million and 937 thousand and 868 eligible voters. By the same time in early elections for the Kosovo Assembly in 2017, 497 thousand and 120 voters or 27.75 per cent of voters” had voted, Daka said.
Asked about reports of buying such votes and irregularities, Daka said they are aware, but the same competent organs are declared.
Valdete Daka also responded to the diaspora vote, which he said they expect from their teams to give the exact numbers of voters. Since she said they still don't have them.
Daka has also met with the US ambassador today, in which he said the United States and the ambassador have shown their support for the election process in Kosovo.
