The dentist rips out ten teeth, causing the patient to find death through bleeding. That's what happened in Purley, Surrey, Great Britain, where a dentist named Tushar Patel was banned from practicing his profession for a year in a row after a woman found death from bleeding, just hours after he had pulled her teeth.
The woman had suffered an infection in the summer of 2017 when she was receiving a medicine called Warfar. During the two meetings within a week, the dentist removed his ten upper teeth without warning him of the risk of losing such large amounts of blood,
The woman died on July 19, 2017. Death caused the doctor to bleed as a result of tooth pulling. Warfar is used as a blood clot, but the removal of so many teeth complicated the situation.
According to General Dental Council, who praised the dentist's work, he has failed to assess the risks to the patient properly.
Thus, in the decision issued this Tuesday, the dentist was suspended by 12 months of duty, which is also the maximum punishment for such cases. He also apologized to the patient's family and accepted the punishment.
