Nebojsa Jakovljevic, adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Social Health, has been detained in Merdare by Serbian authorities, just a week after this had happened to Deputy Culture Minister Boban Stankovijki.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has reacted to the ban, saying it is Serbia's pressure and threat to citizens of the Kosovo Serb community.
Haradinaj's full post office:
Nebojsa Jakovljevic's ban by Serbia's authorities in Merdare is the next unacceptable and punishable act.
Jakovljevic is an adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Social Management, part of the SLS party and brother to the deputy chairman of the Obilic municipality, whose family I have visited during December.
The Kosovo government strongly condemns this form of pressure and threats on the part of Serbia for citizens of the Kosovo Serb community.
The move, not alone or isolated, is part of an orchestrated Serbian power campaign to directly threaten our country's security.
Kosovo is committed to dialogue, which enables the achievement of a final agreement with the neighbouring state, and any act that prevents that spirit is unacceptable.
I like EU officials as well as the International Community to reflect on pressure Belgrade to immediately stop such successive actions against Kosovo citizens, which clearly show the way Serbia has chosen against free movement, the European spirit of co-operation, as well as common values.
