According to a Komuna report, this stance was taken after a meeting between Istog chairman Haki Rugova, DAKA and high and elementary school directors.

“During today's meeting, held between the chairman of the Haki Rugova municipality, the director of the Education Directorate, Hajrush Shoshi, and the directors of the Istog municipality's high and elementary schools were reached with the compatibility that the learning process in the municipality of Istog has to resume from tomorrow 23,01.2019. This unanimous attitude has been reached by those attending meetings, taking into account the interest of the students in the first place. Chairman Rugova also appealed not to politicise the rise of wages on the part of the USSAK, since it is damaging the teaching process in the municipality of Istog”, it is said in the Istog municipality's announcement.
