Kurti has reiterated that she does not support the proposed budget for 2019, calling it the budget of the government “boror”.

During a statement to the media, in organisation for the 120th anniversary of the Pec League, Kurti has reiterated the demand that early elections be held as soon as possible.

“Taxa 100 per cent of Serbia's goods should not be removed. We have insisted on the principle of full reciprocity with Serbia. Politically as well as economically and commercially. Serbia owes us a lot, we don't owe Serbia. But, the current government, although it did not make the tax a hundred percent as part of reciprocity, as part of a vision, more thought and prepared, however, it should by no means be turned back from this action, but the tax should remain a hundred percent”, he said, the KP reported. “Budget must not pass because it is a budget that does not develop Kosovo's economy. It does not ease inequality and poverty in Kosovo. Rather, it is the budget of the government and its court. We seek early parliamentary elections as soon as possible. This government must go, but the tax on Serbia must remain”.

Asked when this government is likely to collapse, he said the prime minister has now taken time to resign. According to him, this government has been characterised by scandals due to mismanagement and corruption. He even expressed confidence that the year 2019 will be an election year.
