Kosovo justice Guardians seem to be at odds with the law. Many 69 of Kosovo's judges and prosecutors are being investigated for disciplinary violations, meaning violations during their duties, by the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office.
But as Koha Ditore reports today, their cases have not been prosecuted away since there are only a few days since the Law on Disciplinary Responsibility has entered into force and clarifications for new legal circumstances are expected.
To see the forms of how the proceedings will take place Thursday, the heads of the Kosovo and Prosecutorial Council have also met. These two councils are expected to issue administrative guidelines to see how these cases will proceed further, Koha Ditore reports.
Unlike Kosovo's judiciary and justice system in general, it is the sphere with mostly complaints from citizens. Within just one year, the ombudsman accepts nearly 500 complaints of various violations being committed to persons in judicial or investigative procedures. /Periscopi
