The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, under the annual session of the UN Assembly, has held a meeting with the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy High Representative Federica Moghrini, is made known through a media communique.

Thaci says he has once again reconfirmed the Kosovo side's readiness for dialogue and reaching a legally binding final agreement.
“After Montenegro's NATO membership, as well as the agreement between Greece and Macedonia, a historic moment has been created for reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia that would permanently settle disputes and create clear perspective of EU membership”, he has said.
The head of state says that these days from numerous meetings he has held with representatives of states in New York has received full support for reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia as the precondition for a lasting peace in the Balkans.
“On the other hand, Federica Moghrini has warned the dynamisation of dialogue, and has offered its and EU support in facilitating this process, not easy but necessary for opening the perspective for both countries in the EU”, the communiqué says.
The president has continued numerous meetings with world leaders who are participating in the UN General Assembly's annual session.
