The two sons of the former Egyptian president, Hosni Moubarak, where the 2011 revolution led to his collapse, were arrested today on charges of”cipulation shares in the Stock Exchange” under a judicial source.
Following the fall of Hosni Moubarak from the Arab Spring circumstances, several judicial procedures against the former head of State, who remained in power for 30 years from (1981-2011) and his associates.
Gamal and Ala Moubak, as well as three other people, have been charged with co-operating to take up most of the shares of some banks through ghost societies, without declaring them in the Stock Exchange, as the law dictates.
They were arrested on the order of a judge during hearings in their presence at a criminal court in Cairo, and will be transferred to a detention centre. The next hearing on the matter was scheduled on October 20th.
