Muhamed Citaku has been nominated to a professor-assist position in the Albanian-language Department of the Philological Faculty for several subjects from the review commission, although he was no longer engaged in the race for this position.
The most popular in this race has emerged Vehbi Miftari, the anti-Candidate of Chitak. The Resensive Commission, consisting of Sali Basota (head), Cybrije Demiri-Fran (Ang), and Zejnullah Nundman (Antar), has given them several reasons for deciding to propose the second candidate for preparation to the Senate.
Chitak's counterCandid, Vehbi Miftari, followed all possible ways of complaining to prevent the adoption of this Senate meeting in question, for Chitak's advance was illegal.
The Pristina University Senate meeting held on September 10th has not been adopted at all the last meeting process where progress has been made.
The newspaper Life in Kosovo has sent questions to the UP's reactor on this issue and Miftar's claims, but the same said they cannot address complaints on one issue.
Following the questions received by KALLXO.com, at the Senate's meeting on September 10th, the adoption of last meeting's procession was postponed (when the Citaku promotion was voted)
Esat Kelmendi, secretary of this university, had said Miftar's reaction was premature.
“After making the decision, the disgruntled side holds complaints and then complaints are reviewed on the complaint commission. We don't deal with complaints before the party agrees to the” decision, Kelmendi said.
The candidate could complain to the Senate complaints commission after receiving the final written decision to select Citak.
Meanwhile, at yesterday's meeting, the Senate made a decision to approve the report.
In this regard, the Miftari candidate said he would continue with complaints to all responsible institutions.
The Senate has ruled against UP regulations and, above all, against the law. August as the final performer of the legal provisions of the Law on Higher Education has calculated violations. This interpretation is binding on the Senate. I will file complaints as soon as I get the Senate's decision, but will parallelly denounce the violations made in this process”, Miftari said.
