Former Prime Minister Balic suspected of sexual assault, he calls the case mounted
Former Kosovo Prime Minister and Vice President Numan Balic has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor girl.
This case was reported to the police by the victim's father, a 17-year-old girl, Selma M.
Immediately after the police appearance, Balic was questioned. But after the interview she was released with regular procedure. He has denied the charges.
And in a phone statement for KTV, he said the case was planted and slandered.
“Rasti is still under investigation. I've been declared to the police and tell you there's nothing in this case. It's fully mounted” Baliq said of KTV.
Numan Balic has been the deputy in the third legislature (2007 -2010). Balic was also minister of health in 2003.
