Kosovo's public debt increases to 1.03 billion euros

“In view of the higher growth of budget expenditures compared to revenues, Kosovo's budget by June 2018 registered the primary budget deficit of 27.1m euros (2.8m euros in the same period of 2017)”, the CEC report on the three-month assessment of macroeconomic developments, broadcast public television.
Public debt at TM2 2018 has reached 1.03 billion euros, which is for 9.2 percent higher than TM2 2017.
Kosovo's “Statement of the public debt is attributed to increased internal debt, while the public external debt was characterised by drop”, the CEC has announced.
