The price of derivatives in Kosovo has been up in recent weeks.

These prices have risen for about 10 cents, while prices have been raised for 20 cents compared to last year.

Currently, the price of derivatives in Kosovo ranges 1.19 euros per oil, while for gasoline to 1.22.

In the oil company, they have told Kosovo Prees that prices have undergone some changes this year.

Kosovo Oil Association Chairman Fadil Beryan says this price hikes have resulted as a cause for international berry.

Beryn: We are not the ones who detect the price

And we gas stations in Kosovo are businessmen. The price of bell and production organisation O PEK. In Kosovo prices behave 1. 19 euro 1.20... While one week is the same price on the Kosovo market. But we're not the ones that dictate the price, because we don't have a refinery... We are in some form businessmen, where the price is dictated by the supply, which we do from countries in the region, from Serbia, from Albania, from Macedonia and Greece”, Berjan stressed.

While, for lack of the quality of derivatives, he adds that the Oil Association has sought control at the border, because this quality is under control.

Beryn: We have little quality control.

“The quality of oil, we've always wanted to be controlled at the border, but the quality is in some form, is being controlled very little. We've appealed to Dogans, even in writing to control the quality as much as possible, because citizens are safer to have a better derivative... we have a little quality check-up”, he said.

While Kosovo citizens are recently paying more for the derivatives that consume their vehicles.

Citizen Naser Dervisolli has said that the prices of derivatives are expensive and are not reasonable compared to the countries of the region. It requires that prices be lowered because they are unaffordable to citizens.

Dervisoli: Prices are expensive

Expensive “are derivative prices. Oil is good, because this is where we get” regularly, Devisol said.

Chief of the Council for Consumer Protection under the MTI, Sheriff Feyzullahu, has told Kosovo that economic operators should always work on market regulations, not damaging consumers, because even part of the citizens are in poverty.

“Lifting derivative prices captures a very broad dimension of the economy in Kosovo, because it affects other consumer prices, because it is chain. Therefore, we seek to beware of the fuel vendors and not to be done outside the allowed standards, but to have a discipline for prices and the quality of derivatives. The competent institutions must strongly monitor this market, so that this fraud is not in consumer pocket”, Feyzullahu stressed.

Even the chairman of the Consumers' Association, Selatin Kachanic, told Kosovo that oil derivative prices -- ahead of the eyes and noses of institutions, associations, mechanisms and power -- increase when there are small moves in the World Beza. But, according to him, when those awards land at the Biothere Berza in Kosovo, the analogy does not happen.

<x0respondence, non-resistance of legal measures testifies to the serious implications of “strong people “of institutions, associations, mechanisms, political parties... and power in the oil derivative business. This implications are high risk to the health, environment, personal and family budget, increased costs in production, trade and services we pay... and to the state budget because this budget about 20 %s is filled with oil derivatives. And, the money you can afford to lack or lack the state budget is the taxpayer's main generator of this budget”, Kachanic claims.

For the rise in the 6.3 per cent derivative prices, it has been confirmed by Kosovo's Statistics Agency.
