Protest organiser Fjolla Ukkan said that ill-governance has brought the phenomenon of violence against women. She added that women's rights are not favors to be extended according to the wishes of certain individuals, but rights are born and should live with women.
Vushtrri's first, Xhafer Tahiri, who was accompanied by his wife, said they have joined in this march to raise awareness of the importance of implementing the law separately in cases of domestic and women violence.
“Gras make up 50% of the population in our country and we can't act indisputable to cases of violence against women. Today we have joined the mayors in this conscious march to protect our wife”, Tahiri said.
