The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT) is reviewing the possibility that through an administrative instruction to regulate early retirement of teachers suffering from serious diseases.
On this issue, August has started discussions with the Ministry of Labour and Social Management (MPMS) and will soon make a decision.
Adviser at the Ministry of Education Valmir Gashi has told the newspaper that Minister Shyqi Bytyqi is now looking at the legal opportunities to regulate the issue, writes today “Koha Ditore”.
He has made it known that actually August doesn't have accurate numbers for the number of teachers who are suffering from serious diseases.
“Minister Bytyqi has already started communicating with Labour and Social Management Minister Skender Recica, and are seeing the legal opportunities and other implications in order to begin to fix this issue with any administrative guidelines. The minister has been dealing with this for a long time, even at the Kosovo Assembly hearings”, Gashi has indicated.
