Mustafa: Do not redefine borders with unilateral referendum, conference

In an interview for Koha.net, the LDK leader says reopening the Kosovo issue is equal to reopening independence. According to him, there is no one right to do this and that with Serbia we need agreements on mutual recognition, on the borders on which Kosovo has declared independence and is internationally recognised.

Mustafa, among other things, says he is even noticing pressure to impose the urgent need for a final agreement on the opinion.

Mustafa has also spoken of Thaci's statements on border correction and final resolution with Serbia, though he does not mention the exchange of territories. It also speaks of statements by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, and other politicians in the country, who are saying such an idea -- either an exchange of territory with the Republic of Serbia (Kosovo version of the Presevo Valley), would lead us to a new war. These Mustafa calls them dangerous.

It's a barren, but irresponsible, dangerous rhetoric. One promises that we take the Presevo Valley and give nothing to the other that border correction causes war, but that all govern together share roles, together they appear in Brussels and jointly try to cheat opinion. He can't believe either. In the Balkans, borders on ethnic grounds are not redefined either by unilateral referenda or by press conferences. Because the question would therefore be asked, if the Presevo Valley could be defeated, why can't other territories? As for Vuciqi, he seems to be conveniating, and there is a kind of coordination in this regard, so that this dangerous kind of agenda can be pushed forward.
