January-July, 116 dead in road accidents in Albania

Albania follows large numbers of lives lost in road accidents, even though there is a slight setback compared to last year.

According to INSTAT's data in seven-month-long 2018, the death toll from road accidents is 116, down from 127 in the same period a year ago.

The data shows that in July 2018, road accidents, in 74,1 of the cases, have occurred as a result of the driver's behavior.

The highest number of accidents in this period has been conducted by the 45-year-old group, ranging 27,1 % in the total number of accidents. Accidents at this age group have increased by 15.4 %, compared to the same period a year ago.

In the seven months of 2018, road accidents at 20,8 % of the cases have occurred as a result of infantry behavior. During this period the number of accidents according to infantry behavior has dropped by 7.4 %, compared to the same period a year ago.

In July 2018, 166 road accidents are counted, out of 199 accidents in July 2017, dropping by 16.6 %, compared to the same period a year ago.

In July 2018, the number of accidents is 210 people, down from 272 a year ago, sitting by 22,8 %s, writes emonitor.

The number of accidents in the seventh quarter of 2018 is 1,276, dropping by 13.6 %, compared to the same period a year ago.
