At an unprecedented conference, Haradinaj has said Kosovo wants to move forward in dialogue with Serbia, but not by discussing the borders and exchange of territories.
He has warned that he will be taken from a table at which the topic of discussion will be borders.
On the other hand, Haradinaj also spoke about meetings with institutional leaders, answering journalists' questions about whether President Thaci is pressuring them for failing to hold the extraordinary session, which will be held next week regarding topics of discussion in the dialogue with Serbia.
” Session is political event. Sometimes I called the dialogue session myself, but it didn't work, but I'm sorry. It's hard to get clear intentions, but on the other hand it's not good to send orders that we're trying to cut the dialogue. This may mean that we are not going forward with dialogue. The territory of the border will not be the subject of discussion. We want final agreements with Serbia, which ends with mutual recognition. I sided with the table if those topics are challenged and I am not going that way, if anyone says the border issue is binding on reaching agreement with Serbia”, Haradinaj has declared.
The first of the Government said there is no magic formula that would satisfy the two sides.
These are serious processes, we have come here like Kosovo. It's rationally wrong to go back and discuss things that are closed. The issues to be done are recognition by Serbia, by the EU and UN membership. Political rhetoric I shut down, everybody gives the thought”, he concluded./Periscopi
