The concern they have is that the idea, which carries the risk of destabilizing the region, enjoys the support of US President Donald Trump's administration, writes today “Koha Ditore”.
A day earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel has clearly said that “the territorial integrity of the Balkan countries is firm and unchanged “and that “this must be repeated repeatedly, because there is constant effort that maybe to talk about borders, and that we cannot do that”.
French daily “Le Monde” has dedicated a special article Tuesday to the issue related to changing borders. He saw it as a dangerous game. From the outset, it has been pointed out that this prospect frightens Europeans. It points out that the British have already rejected this solution.
American portal “BuzFedNews” has covered the same issue and has reported that European officials are concerned by Trump administration approach. A French diplomat has said the idea of discussing borders is destabilizing.
