Albin Kurti tells Germans Thaci is doing harmful deals with Serbia

Chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement! , Albin Kurti, deputy chairman of the Movement, Besnik Bislim, MP, Victor Pacolli, and the official from the Foreign Relations Secretariat, Diona Budima, hosted today Social Democratic Party delegation from German Bundestag, made up of MPs Josip Juratovic, deputy Dr. Martin Rosen, with their associates Roberta Walser, Yannick Schulze, Dr. Christian Steg, as well as the director of the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation in Kosovo, Frank Huntke.

According to a representative of LVV, the Social Democrats from Germany, MPs along with social-democrats, within their visit to the region, were interested in recent political developments and the socio-economic situation in Kosovo, as well as in expressing particular interest in the political programme and commitments of the Vetevendosje Movement!

“During the summit, Chairman Kurti unveiled the principles and programming priorities of the Movement, oriented in democratic statehood and socio-economic development. He spoke of the necessity of combating crime and corruption both for the justice system and investment in the economy. And, for the importance of European and Euro-Atlantic integrations, the need for strengthening left in Europe and solidarity inside it, as a safe way to protect and establish the EU”, Kurti was quoted as saying.

In dealing with current political developments in Kosovo, among other things, Kurti is said to have stressed that Kosovo President Thaci's dialogue with Serbia's President Vuciq for correcting borders and territorial exchange is unfair, harmful since today and dangerous in the process.

“Juratovic and Mr. Kurti agreed that this attempted trade between presidents is derived from the autocratic character of the powers of these two presidents, which is both against democracy and against the republic. Therefore, as never before, communication, co-ordination and solidarity are needed between social-democratic parties in the region and Europe. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness and interest in deepening co-operation between Germany's Social Democratic Party and Movement V UNDAY:”, media report said
