Ahmeti calls for halt to Thaci's adventures

PSD and Pristina head Shpend Ahmeti has asked the Kosovo Assembly to take responsibility and not allow, as he has said, “ventures” of President Thaci on borders. Ahmeti even recommends ending dialogue with Serbia until reaching consensus in the middle of political spectrum in the country

Dialogue with Serbia must cease until a consensus is reached in the middle of the political spectrum in Kosovo. So stated in an interview given to the newspaper “Voice” president of the Social Democrat Party.

First PSD and Pristina have added that MPs should return from the holiday, as Kosovo President Hashim Thaci according to him has already started “ventures” on the border issue. During the interview Ahmeti has also spoken about elections, with whom he said the PSD guarantees 12 signatures to its deputies, any opposition parties that decide to file a motion for the government's collapse. But according to him, none of the opposition parties -- neither the LDK nor the LVV -- are taking any steps in this direction despite the statements they are making. While talking about developments at the Municipal Assembly Pristina chairman has accused his former Pristina party, Vetevendosje Movement, of continuing attacks towards him and the PSD, attacks which, according to Ahmeti, are paradoxical and quite strange.
