“Any attempt by his arrival [in Novi Pazar] would be illegal and it is known how it is done with those who illegally try to enter the territory of an internationally recognised and sovereign country such as Serbia”, has been the reaction of Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin.
Vulin added that Serbia's government did not approve that visit, praising it illegal.
I would ask, says the Serbian minister, not to become a parallel with the Pristina authorities' action.
Let's not forget that we are an internationally recognised state, while Kosovo and Metohia is territory under the provisional administration of the United Nations, in line with Resolution 1244. Pacolli, as foreign minister, cannot come to the territory of Serbia, for the simple reason that neither Resolution 1244 nor with relevant UNMIK documents is determined to have any Minister of Foreign Affairs”, Voulin told Serbian media.
