Vetting, Artan Zenelli fired from duty

Supreme Judge Artan Zenelli didn't cross Vetting. He has been dismissed from duty by the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK). The judge was not present when making the decision, not even his lawyer.

From the time that he returned to the judgment system, until he met Vetthing, Artan Zenel, judge of the Supreme Court, has increased his fortune almost double. In 10 years he has provided almost 50 million new fortune money, which in his statements explains that he has secured them from his wife's salary, much of it, income as a judge and revenue from rent.

Zenel appeared the day before the self-defence, during which a problem with statements was highlighted, for the way the Supreme Court member bought a few-storyville in a highly recognised residential area in Tirana.

In the purchase contract, Judge Artan Zenelli has paid the sum of 150 thousand euros, not the company that built the compound, but its partner. According to the judge, the payment is being paid in trust, as this citizen is his friend.

According to the judge, for the purchase of the villa, costing 196 thousand euros, he had paid 46 thousand euros as the first tranche, and until the loan was approved, he owed his friend 150 thousand euros.

It's the introduction of Judge Artan Zenelli on the American Embassy's blacklist for those whose right to travel to the United States.

On January 26, 2017, he received visas to travel to the United States. Before the suicide, Zenel explained that it was a private visa, not an official one.

But on June 4th, a few days after Top Channel published the judge's property figures, he appeared at the American Embassy, where he learned that even official visas have been revoted by the United States. / TCh/
