One of the Serbs arrested today in Gjilan worked for Serbia's Army

During a police operation in the Gjilan region, Kosovo police today have arrested five persons of Serbian nationalism under suspicion that they are involved in activities against Kosovo's constitutional order and security.
As reported by Serbian media, the detainees are Radovan Stojkovic, director of the National Employment Service office in Gjilan, Jovan Deniz official municipal Jovan, as well as Nenad Stojanovic mechanic by profession but employed in the Vranje-based Army of Serbia.
Stojkovq and Deniz were arrested at the facilities of the Cultural Centre ébozidar Mitrovic Sandorić in Shilova.
Police action began in the early hours of today.
Apart from their homes, police have raided the service offices and those of the Shilovova mayor
Serbian media reported that this action concerns the removal of members of the Serb community from the KSF, but this has denied Kosovo police.
According to RTS, Stojanovic was arrested under suspicion of putting pressure on Serbian KSF members to leave the service.
More than 30 Serb members of the KSF, mainly of the Gjilan suburb, have fled in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Serbia constantly urges Serbian citizens not to join the KSF, as the latter wants to return to the Kosovo Army.
In this regard, Office for Kosovo Director Marko Djurovic is expected to hold a media conference.
