Cows closed in the name of art, Gallery is praised for being treated well (the work also being mistreated)

Kosovo's National Gallery has held the media conference, in connection with the “Vuajja is not art” that will today keep animal rights activists in response to Sislej Xhafa's work, “The eighth of Kosovo cow”.

Arta Agani, director of this institution, has indicated that for the realisation of this work they have even consulted veterinarian experts and said cows are being kept in good condition according to the Ministry of Agriculture's recommendation, Kosovo Presses follows.

The people who have organised the protest, Agan has called them non-commercials to assess the art and said they have not gone to see the conditions where the animals are being maintained, nor have they consulted the staff.

The cow's owner, Arben Avdiu, has shown that these are farm cows, and he says there is no problem why they stay closed. He also said that the cows are under surveillance 24 hours.

During the conference, artist Sisley Xhafa sent a message from Principal Arta Agani.

I'm a vegetarian. I love you without knowing”, says the message of Caiaphas.
