One of the victims, 44-year-old Dawn Sturges, died in the hospital on Sunday after being exposed to the agent.
Her boyfriend, 45-year-old Charlie Rowley, has been in critical condition, until officials have now said he is in a more stable condition.
London police have said on Friday that a small bottle was found during the search at Rowley's house, and after being tested by scientists it has been confirmed that the substance was Novico.
The police are still researching where the bottle came from and how it got to Rowley's house.
Other tests will be aimed at finding out whether the same samples were poisoned by former Russian agent Sergei Scripal and his daughter, Yulia, in Sallsbury, Britain, in March.
