The defence ministry says migrants had left the Czech coast in Turkey with a destination on the island of Chios in Greece.
The immigrants who were rescued from the ship “Butrit” were later transferred to the FRONTEX ship. In the drowning - threatening tire, among 41 immigrants there were 10 children and 7 women, two of whom were pregnant.
The ship “Butrit” patrols the Aegean Sea under NATO operation.
