The Slovak chief parliament: My Serbian brothers, you deserve most EU membership

If someone deserves to be an EU member as soon as possible, you are my Serbian brothers”, he said today, writes Periscope.

“Life in the European Union is not easy, but the EU is the only alternative”, he added.

According to him, Slovakia could provide much information on mistakes made on the road to EU accession, adding that Serbia should protect its natural resources, such as water, and not sell its most important companies.

Danko, for the media, has said that with Gojkovic, he has spoken of an ethical code Slovakia is preparing in co-operation with Austria and other states, saying his approval would contribute to a better conduct of MPs.

He has thanked Serbia for the respect given to the Slovak people, allowing it to be addressed to the Serbian Parliament, which, according to him, is no ordinary practice.

On the other hand, Maja Gojkov has thanked Slovakia for the reason that, according to her, it has remained consistent in non-recognition of Kosovo, leading that this state and other EU member states “should be informed about the process of dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels”.

She has also thanked Slovakia for its support in Serbia's efforts to join the EU. /Periscopi/
