Is the opposition united to bring down Government?

Alternative MP Ilir Deda has said they have collected 27 signatures of Kosovo Assembly deputies to launch the motion for the government's collapse. The two MEPs of the alternative, the LDK's 24 and the signing of Independent MP Korab Sejdiu already figure on the list of this initiative.

According to him, opposition parties' statements that they will soon tear down the government are false, as no concrete steps are taken. However, Deda has called for the support of the rest of the opposition, Vetevendosje and PSD to give their signatures and to launch the motion to overthrow the Haradinaj government.

Vetevendosje MP Albulen Haxhiu has told Periscope that her party has consistently been in favour of the government's collapse, but has not received full support from other opposition parties.

She says this government is very harmful to the country, so it must be removed as soon as possible.

The country today is in a deep crisis and is constantly being threatened by this government. We have demanded Haradinaj's resignation due to weekly scandals, perhaps even more. We have asked for voting motions, so this minority government has no legitimacy. Haxhiu says the VV will be part of these initiatives because the Haradinaj government is only bringing bad.

Of course VV will be part of such initiatives because we consider this government to be extremely harmful and every day at the helm with Haradinaj is losing hope for the citizens of the country. Of course we as VV are going to be fully committed to prevent this from happening.

Asked whether the votes against the government would be made without those of the Serbian List, Haxhiu thinks there would be a commitment in this direction, given the fact that within the coalition there are disagreements with Haradinaj's way of ruling.

There have been many deliberate claims of position that you want to bring down Government by the Serbian List votes. I believe this government is harmful and much better to fall than let it continue. Taking into account the fact that they are making preparations for Zajednica, then negotiations with Serbia, therefore Haradinaj is powerless to face a person like Hashim Thaci and actually serve as Thaci's tool and of course that is dangerous for the country. I believe that there would be a commitment in this direction, of course it would be possible even in view of the fact that within the coalition, they don't agree with the way of government, so I'm also saying that a common commitment is needed to succeed.

VV MP has accused opposition parties of failing to fully respond to this, particularly the Social Democrat Party - PSD.

The Vetevendosje movement has been constantly pro-government collapse, but has not received support from opposition parties, with particular emphasis from the PSD. So as we have heard, they have dilemmas if the country is going to the elections and that, of course, is because of their interests and doubts whether they can succeed in new elections, but I believe that none of the political subjects could put the subject before the Republic of Kosovo, she says.

On the other hand, Social Democrat Party MP Dardan Moliqaj has said about Periscope that this is becoming a topic for political consumption, but there is nothing concrete, but if votes are made for the collapse of the government, support will also be received by the party it represents.

The Social Democrat Party does not support under any circumstances and no award this current government of the Republic of Kosovo, and as always ready to agree and open discussion with other opposition parties, which are ready to come to the polls”, Moliqaj has said.

According to him, it is unfair that this topic is being used for months for political consumption, but no concrete initiative is ever under way for collecting signatures for no-confidence motion.

I believe that it is both unfair and somewhat dishonest by some of the opposition parties who are continuing for months on top of this subject as a public subject, and on the other hand, they never take the concrete initiative to collect the signatures and file a no-confidence motion against Haradinaj Government. Any discussion which does not precede actions I think is only about political consumption”, he said.

Moliqaj said that PSDA, the day he is offered a motion for the collapse of the government, will support him on the condition that this motion has support.

If the motion is just for political consumption of whatever, then we don't believe we have to be part of something that's not serious. Otherwise if one of the opposition parties secures enough votes, then the PSD will also back”, Moliqaj said.

Political parties in the country have been organizing tables for a political concession, even for possible elections, but nothing has been achieved in this direction yet./Periscopi/
