After a heated debate that has lasted more than 22 hours, 129 MPs have voted in favour of legislation compared to 125 against and a abstention.
The legislation now awaits the Senate's approval.
The president, Maurizio Macri, has strongly rejected the legislation, but has said he will not veto the same if both rooms approve.
Currently, abortion is illegal in Argentina, except for rape, or when the health of the woman is in danger.
Women seeking to perform abortion must apply to a permit judge who, according to critics, may be delayed for no reason whatsoever. (REL)
