MP PSD's Faton Topalli today in the Kosovo Assembly has presented figures and facts, which according to him commit legal violations of the rights of workers employed in the private sector, broadcast Koha.net.

I want to talk about a legal offense, the biggest violation that has begun with the end of the war, and currently included over 720,000 citizens who work in the private sector. If we add 30 to 40 to % illegal employees to that number, then that figure would be about 300,000,818x1>, Topall said at the beginning of his word.

According to him, those who have business contracts figure you in the contract that they have to work eight hours while working from 12 hours a day have no compensation for extra hours, on Saturdays and Sundays, not composed for hours of night, don't get their annual vacations according to contract and leave without warning.

Topalli found that this is a violation of two-legged law, that's a secret tax, that's an illegal property, that's discrimination, and that's what brings us back in 1886, when Chicago workers demonstrate, shed blood on one May and die for implementing hours of work.

The worse that this violation of the law also harms those regular entrepreneurs who respect the Labour Law, but that fact made them uneven and economical in competition with companies that violate the Law.

I raised this topic today, not because it's an unknown theme because it's a public secret that the Prime Minister, Labour and Social Management Minister, Prosecutor, Police, Labour Inspectorate, so everybody knows.

I'm freezing it because wherever I have contact with employees, one of the main problems they have, except for salaries that don't provide survival, it's the long working hours.

Now if a worker works six days a week, from 12 hours a day that takes 72 hours a week, 288 hours a month respectively, then the worker who has a 250 Euro salary gets 86 cents an hour, but if he has the minimum salary of 170 euros a month, it gets 59 cents per hour” tah Topalli.

This is not just dignified treatment, this is not just discrimination, this is slavery. Slaveship in the 21st century in the country which claims to become part of the European Union while respecting the Law of Labour is 132 years behind the idea of the United States, leaving it with European countries, some of which are experimenting to make work schedules six hours a day.

With respect to working hours, according to the Labour Law, we would not only turn the worker into a legitimate right and, however, a little of the dignity that was lost, but also provide some 73,000 new jobs.

53 labour inspectors are few to control over 7,000 economic companies, but Kosovo has 90,000 police officers, Topalli has concluded.
