Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi says the Law on Use of Languages will be sent to the Official Gazette when he will assess that it is the right time, but does not specify when that can happen.
In an interview for Radio Free Europe, he said that given that there are no legal deadlines, he said when the time will be right, the law will be published in the Official Journal.
He does not want to comment on speculation that the ruling Albanian DUI party, calculates with the Language Law, and plays the cold-hot game and, in case of new preliminary elections, still currentise the Albanian language.
I don't want to comment on what you say. I think this is not DUI's position and calculations, but of any other party, since the law has already been brought in for the second time and there is no calculation to be what you say”, Xhaferi said.
