It says Serbia allows the participation of Kosovo athletes, but without name and state symbols, and only on behalf of international federations, Serbian media write.
“As a host, a good host, we allow karateists from the southern province to participate in this championship, but exclusively with neutral status and to be represented in the name and surname of the European International Federation”, the report said.
This is said to be done in order not to be abused and promote separatism as well as violate international law.
Serbia will be a good host to all athletes, but not for politics”, the report said.
