Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli has posted on Facebook, part of talks he has told his counterparts from the European Union at a meeting in Greece.
“Remember Kosovo. Kosovo is a European Union creature and we are a natural part of Europe. Fathers traveling by railway across Europe 50 years ago find it difficult to explain to their children today why they cannot travel - I told counterparts from the European Union gathered in Greece”, writes Pacolli, broadcast Periscopi.
He says he has shown European diplomats that Kosovo risks remaining an isolated country due to visa non-liberalisation.
“I further said that a country created by the European Union, with a legislation entirely according to European norms, risks being forgotten, however, as showing the isolation of Kosovo citizens due to lack of visa liberalisation”, Pacolli writes.
Finally, we're cutting off Pacolli's metaphor:
And I added a metaphor that I've experienced from time to time: “to illustrate our importance, I'm referring to the example of our children who can't often build their object in the Legos game because they forget a small element... Without us, Europe is not complete, it is not sustainable... But if children can be advised to care for all the parts of their game, as the representative of a small country, I find it difficult to advise you, representatives of large countries. ...however I suggest to you: whenever you see children playing this game, remember for Kosovo”, Pacolli shows. /Periscopi/
