“The solution is the code of conduct, not the dress”, the “problem is in your mind, not in my clothes”, there were some of the placards in the protest organised by the student body controversial study action (SKV), Anti-Sexist Group, Arpolis, USEP and ORCA for addressing requests against sexual harassment at Pristina University.
Student Alora Hyseni has called for changing the Ethics Code, establishing an investigative Commission and apologizing from the UPI, while saying the request for the dismissal of the Teuta Pustina prosecutor has been met.
We call for changing the Ethics Code for academic personnel and introducing sexual harassment in its provisions. Establishment of the general social participation Commission for investigating sexual harassment. An apology from the University of Pristina for all cases of sexual harassment so far and for the lack of action for cases presented”, Hyseni said.
Students have unanimously read the definition of sexual harassment.
Any form of unwanted, verbal, not verbal or physical behavior with sexual nature, with intent or influence, in violating a person's dignity through creating a threatening, hostile, degrading, degrading, or offensive atmosphere is considered sexual harassment”, Hyseni said.
Students claimed that UP is an educational institution with sexistic intellectuals.
Otherwise, prior to the UPI reactor, a large number of Pristina University students attended.
