Officials of “Traicos” expect that very soon some of these lines will be reactivated. Even infrastructure ministry officials confirm this, who said the Pristina-Peje line would resume operation during April.
Haxhi Raci, head of the Office for Control, Security and Quality at “Traincos”, told Radio Kosovo that until 2017 they were operating ten railway lines, this year due to lack of vehicles, six of them have been suspended, while only four of them are operating.
Last mid-year we operated on 1010 trains, and there were four lines towards Pec and six lines toward Elez Khan. Currently, we operate only four trains, while compared to last year, six lines, which don't work at all”, he said.
Islam Morina, public division communications official at the Ministry of Infrastructure, told Radio Kosovo that the ministry has split the budget for 2018 for even reactivating two lines, which are currently not being maintained. He announced that the Pristina-Peje line will be reactivated this month.

While citizens say the train trip is comfortable and much cheaper. To that end, they require increased lines in all directions where infrastructure is functional.
It is better for citizens to be a line during the day than it is now only in the morning and evening. If there was another line during the day, it's more reasonable. Train trip is better for students, and even prices are cheap, 0.050 cents per student.
And the biggest beneficiaries of passenger train exploitation are: Categories released by war (vetrain, disabled, martyr families), students, pensioners, and so on.
