In an interview for CNN, Le Drian said there was no doubt that the chemical attack had occurred and that chloride was still being used in Douma.
Le Aryan said the targets of attacks in Syria have been met, until he added that much of Syria's chemical arsenal has been destroyed.
All the planes have returned safely.
He added that continued negotiations with Russia is necessary. On the other hand, French President Emmanuel Macron's trip to St Petersburg at the end of May will continue as planned.
