They wanted to build a Las Vegas in Baltic.
In 2010, a small group of businessmen, including several wealthy Russian supporters of Vladimir Putin, have started working about a plan to build a hotel complex for Donald Trump in Latvia's capital, Riga, reports The Guardian”, broadcast Periscopi.
An associate of Trump has visited the city to locate the settlements. Trump and his daughter Ivanka have spent several hours in Trump Tower with several Russians, such as Igor Krutoy, who are also alleged to have had several meetings with him during the 2016 election campaign.
The British media “The Guardian” has learned that after the talks, Trump's company has dismissed them, as Krutou and some businessmen who were questioned by the Latvian authorities as part of a criminal investigation, where the FBI has watched the connections that Trump may have with this group.

Latvia asked the United States for help in 2014 and received an answer from the FBI in 2015. The Latvian investigators also reviewed secret records in which Trump was mentioned by a suspect.
That means the FBI viewed Trump's efforts at business deals conducted in the former Soviet Union. Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller is investigating Russian intervention as part of the impact on Trump's victory in presidential elections held in 2016.
Krutow, known as a composer in Russia, has written texts for Russian singer Emin Agalarov, whose father organized Miss Universe in 2013. Krutoy took part in the competition, where he took a photo with Trump.
Krutoy, 63, was a famous representative for Putin's election campaign in 2018 and has received great state honours from the Russian government for his music./Periscopi/
