Krasniqi rules out the possibility of co-operation with VV in the Parliament, but by no means rejoining

The group of independent deputies, who were part of the Vetevendosje Movement, is expected to soon decide whether to form a new party. MP Frasher Krasniqi, who is among the 12 deputies who have left the Vetevendosje Parliamentary Group, says the political future of this group is shared.
He has told Radio Free Europe that they have not yet decided on forming any new party, but, according to him, are discussing making a decision about the group's future.
“We are discussing and making debates about future plans in relation to political developments, but also with the development of this Independent Group of Deputies. The members of this group have different opinions on this issue, and normally we are in a process when we will come to a common opinion or decision. Normally our political path will be shared according to all odds,” has said Frasher Krasniqi.
MP Krasniqi has not ruled out the possibility of co-operation in the Parliament with Vetevendosje Movement.
But he has said that there is no element that he could do together with the former parliament, this group of MPs.
“With the Vetevendosje Movement normally except for conceptual differences and related to the Vetevendosje approach, we have no problem and we will be open to co-operate on topics in which we agree to”, Krasniqi has said.
On Tuesday, Kosovo's Assembly is expected to put the ratification of border demarcation with Montenegro to a vote.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has called on all MPs to vote on demarcation in order to overcome Kosovo's isolation, taking into account that ratification of the agreement with Montenegro remains the condition set by the European Commission for abolishing visas.
But, Krasniqi has not indicated whether MPs from this group of MPs will vote for ratification of the agreement.
After the last parliamentary elections, the Vetevendosje Movement managed to secure 32 seats in the Assembly. But developments within this party and domestic elections influenced internal divisions and the removal of some of the key figures from this political subject.
The removal of 12 deputies, which formed the new parliamentary group, the Group of Independent MPs and the return of Donika Kaday-Bujupi to the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, has almost halved the number of deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement, which currently has 19 seats in the Assembly.
