Albania's border police in the first two months of the year have not allowed to travel to the Schengen area, turning over 3 thousand Albanian citizens to the border, of which 246 result in being minorities.
Enhancing green border surveillance for the prevention of illegal border crossings has been intensified, the complete article can be read in today's Time Ditore issue.
On January 1st, February 28, 2018, border police have been reversed at border crossing points of 3,307 citizens, of these 246 minors. But during this same period, 311 Albanian citizens have been detained for illegal crossing of the” border, the Albanian Police report said.
Also, the announcement explains that border police have intensified the relocation operations of Albanian citizens, in co-operation with FRRONEX and with destination countries.
