As MIE reports, Minister Hoxha expressed respect and gratitude for the support Kosovo received from Slovenia, stressing that Slovenia's friendship is witnessed for Kosovo's new history.
Furthermore, it has discussed the EU Enlargement Strategy for the Western Balkans, stressing the importance of the integration process, the maximum commitment of Kosovo institutions to implement the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, as well as the Council of European Reforms, seeking further support from Slovenia, the friendly state that has consistently supported the positive processes of the Republic of Kosovo.
We welcome Slovenia's support in the processes Kosovo is going through and continuing excellent co-operation between our two countries. We are grateful for the overall support Slovenia has provided in particular to Kosovo's integration into international institutions is the step our citizen expects. We are aware that by implementing the SAA, we approach our country with Euro-Atlantic integration values”, Minister Hoxha stressed.
Ambassador Bertoncej also praised the co-operation between the two countries and expressed its commitment to expanding these reports further, especially for the European integration process.
“Kosovo has achieved successes in this process, the focus remains far behind the rule of law, good neighbourhood, establishment of the quality of life of citizens, economic development and implementation of Kosovo's international agreements, are challenges we believe will successfully realise Kosovo, we offer full support in this process”, Slovenia's Ambassador Bojan Bertoncej stressed.
