The prosecution claims this attack was carried out by activists from the Vetevendosje Movement to prevent the Demarket Agreement with Montenegro.

Four activists of the Vetevendosje Movement were sentenced to about 21 years in prison for this attack. The fifth died under mysterious circumstances in detention, while the Demarketing Agreement has not yet been approved.

The fate of Father and Arifi, Frasher Krasniqi, Adea Batusha, Egzon Halit and the late Astrit Dehari, seems inevitable related to the Demarketing Agreement, which according to the political subject belonging to Kosovo loses thousands of hectares of land.

Tomorrow, on February 22, 2018, the agreement (with a statement) is expected to be voted in the Kosovo Assembly and by chance on the same day, the Court of Appeals will declare the case against four VV activists.

On 17 November last year, Pristina's Constitutional Court had found fault and sentenced Vetevendosje activists to 21 years in prison.

Attain and Arifi had been sentenced to six years in prison, Frasher Krasniqi to eight years, Egzon Haliti to 5 and a half years, while Adea Batusha to 2 years in prison. As long as Adea is at large, the other indictees are in custody.

The four accused -- along with the late man, Astrit Dehari -- were charged with carrying out the attack in the Parliament in an effort to prevent the passage of the Demarketing Agreement.

All of the accused with the persistent have declared themselves innocent as they have called the case's assembly against them.

On the other hand, the Demarcing Agreement for nearly three years is the head of discussions in the country and the main condition for visa liberalisation.

The Demarketing Agreement has caused fierce political clashes with the once opposition parties, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, the Initiative for Kosovo, which together with Vetevendosje Movement, claiming Kosovo is losing territory on one side and with the Democratic Party of Kosovo supporting its passage.

Even the shifts the AAK brought to power by the LDK into the opposition did not change the situation much, and it took an idea from Zv. Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj and a joint statement by Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and his Montenegrin counterpart, Filip Vujanovic, who predict that after ratification, eventual corrections can be made in the Agreement.

Both of these very related events tomorrow will be answered.

Activists will appear before the Court of Appeals to claim their innocence, while the Demarketing Agreement will be put to the polls in the Kosovo Assembly.
