On February 17th, the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's Declaration of Independence is celebrated. This is the first decade of a state's existence and of course it's not long history. However, a decade is too long for residents of this country, who are disappointed with what followed its independence.

Kosovo today is not a beloved country by its citizens. There is no measurement, but I believe that at least every fourth Kosovo youth age wants to leave his independent country. In the huge influx of escapes that took place at the end of 2014 and early 2015, the term "perspective" was often mentioned. It was said that there is no perspective in Kosovo. Most of them gave perspective to some economic dimension, but it's obvious we're dealing with more than that. Much of this country's past and culture are looked down on. For collective elections. I'm not just talking about elections between political parties, but also about everyday choices in musical tastes, or generally artistic, elections to do nothing about improving sports or improving other things.

So, now for a decade, Kosovo does not give a perspective. To look at it objectively, this word means “to look closer”. This means that Kosovars who wanted to leave Kosovo because of a lack of perspective had a little deeper than their idea of doing so. They also thought not only of their lack of production scheme but also of the security of the evental site within that scheme. They lacked clarity in seeing their potential. It was not sure that if you were a profiler, you would take a trade or become good at something, and you won a job and a career advancement opportunity.

As a result of this disapproving, people lost the impressive enthusiasm of the day of declaring independence, and they lost love for their country. This also led to an international racism where our society is judged to be inferior by its own citizens.

But this is the result of a measure of disparagement between expectations and what could indeed be achieved. Of course, the political class is unaware and unwise to promote development. And anyway, developing the country is not that it doesn't happen. That's because everything doesn't depend on the institutions and leaders of these institutions. Kosovo has a pretty strong diaspora, and also good access to entrepreneurship. If the latter isn't developing enough, it's primarily about our culture and communist remains in our minds. I don't believe Kosovo applies unfavourable policies to small businesses. If someone is harmed by policies of Kosovo's governments, then there are big businesses that owe high taxes, electricity severalfold more expensive than for citizens, non-recognition of these taxes, the obligation to cooperate with the policy of sometimes tribute to work in illegal forms, or in what is known as informal economies.

But Kosovo, although the poorest country in Europe, does not think it promotes big social inequality. At least not, within the institutionalized spheres of power. A neuroliberal theory might say that this is the problem, but the truth is there is no problem here. If the pace of growth is small, it is because it cannot be different.

Many people have contributed to the idea that everything depends on certain points of power over an entire society. Suppose we see political actors inside a stage and think that everything in society is moved by them. It's not true at all. Kosovo is a free country, a country where there is great room for the exercise of a host of forces different from many non-involved people on the theatre stage we talked about.

Kosovars must be freed from the feeling that everything is caught and dependent. They must gain some individual independence within this society. To realize that the individual is in some permanent conflict with society for its very nature. Forget Hegel, within society you will never feel at home like he defines freedom. That's the whole tragedy to be admitted. Because only this is how freedom is accepted and exercised.

It is sad to still see the old trend for the National Union with Albania, or for Kosovo as the cradle of Serbia. Kosovars have to develop their country from their purely selfish interests and serve society by being precisely selfish. Ironically, then, society can help, not by thinking about its fate, but by thinking of itself.

That's the independence we should have gained a long time ago. To engage without expecting an ideal ranking of our individual potential and capacities. This will never happen! The state will never be perfect. There'll always be pressure generation.

I think that Albania's flag in the district of Pristina should be removed, and instead put on the flag of the Republic of Kosovo. That would mark unless any other Kosovo's internal release from the counterfeit dream of being territorially larger. And all of this, just to measure up with neighbors.

I don't think Kosovo Albanians fought for union with Albania. I think this war happened as a reaction to the great oppression, and a desire for self-control and self-rule. For freedom. And from this sight, freedom turns out to be opposite to the national union where we would have to re-subsequent a piece of control to someone else.
