I'm thirsty for knowledge. I feel very vivid about the satisfaction of discovery and research, and I have not stopped reading scientific magazines and works, informing me of the scientific progress of knowledge. However, I have come to realize very quickly that the relationship between knowledge and reality posed the problem posed long ago by Indian, Chinese, Greek thinkers, again established by Kanti, and today by the science of the brain and the philosophy of knowledge: what do we know about reality?

I know, made problematic, makes the reality of itself, which then makes the very mind of knowledge problematic, which is now enigmatic to the mind-making brain. That's how we get to the inseparable relationship between reality, knowledge, mind and brain. We find a stranger in each one and, most paradoxically, the unknown lies within what we know and what we know. This has not satisfied my thirst for knowledge, but it has intensified and increased with the goal of proving to know for itself its own knowledge, its possibilities, its limits, its risks to error, to fall prey to illusion, and to seek means to develop a knowledge as appropriate as possible.

I also always feel the pleasure of discovery, of research, of both the universe and the small details of daily life. This has sparked me, increasingly, the wonder sometimes the wonder, sometimes the guess of being in life, walking, standing under the sun, seeing the moon rise up in the night sky, observing the mass of stars, too small for my eyes, but too great for my knowledge. Everything that is inherent, everything that is known, is turned into wonder and mystery. My habitat grows with every look, every feeling. And it's not just the mystery of life, of existence, of reality, it's also the head of passersby on the street, it's the trees, the animals...

I am surprised by the seeds gathered, protected as newborn children inside the ovum, the seeds of grapes, I am amazed at the closed almond. I have a strong sense of invisibleness hidden within what we see. I feel what has been felt by many minds in many civilizations, the feeling of a hidden truth. But I've come to consciousness, that this truth will remain forever hidden from our knowledge. I am among those who marvel at the universe, but not among those who find meaning or rationalize. When the great Einstein stands in awe of the great reason that he holds the Universe, I cannot help but think that this higher reason is all flooded by the rampant madness, the annihilation of antimaveries, by matter of matter, the collisions of the stars, the unbroken dissolution of all that is compounded, without forgetting the cathalms that history of life has known, and, if we move on to humanity, the annihilation of civilizations, the cultural disasters and the spread of the massacres of the sheep, as well as the atrocities of any kind! Those who design their reason for the universe tend to view irrationality as illusions of ignorant people and, becoming themselves irrational in their rational illusion, tend to be blind in the face of the world's irrationality. We may be amazed at the harmonious order of universal laws, but it is clear that our universe is a multiple game of order and chaos. As Heraklit had ascertained, five centuries before Christ, harmony and chaos combines, and if the conflict is not the only father of all things, being inseparable by the Union, Eros and Thanatos are at the same time permanent components and antagonists. Of course, there is tremendous organization power in our universe, from atom to galaxy. But there is equally remarkable deorganizing force, and the second principle of thermodynamics was an explorer. Some in the history of the universe have seen an increase in complexity toward superior forms of mind.

This growth is extreme on a small planet like our Earth, which has been subjected to various surprises. At the same time, under the influence of a force now called dark energy, the universe is heading for distribution and death. Let us not adorn the universe despite its wonders.

Some believe that they have found the secret of the universe in a supreme algorithm. So where does this algorithm come from, the super-abstranded mathematical version of the Creator, and that, in addition, can only produce order? I am convinced that, on the contrary, according to St. John's motto of the Cross, the mystery lies in the black “ ” that is beyond our understanding. The constant horror leads to the constant raising of questions. I seek and find many and many explanations in sciences, but these explanations contain the inexplicable and raise new questions. I know that my reason, my mind reveals to me the world, reality, life and at the same time shut me down, with their limits, because the world, the reality, the life I know hide the unknown. I live increasingly with the knowledge and sense of the presence of the unknown in knowledge, of the puzzle in the banal, of the mystery in all things, and in particular, of the growing mystery, of every increase of knowledge. Dostoyevsky said: “The man is a mystery. If to clarify this mystery, we've spent our entire lives, then we haven't wasted our time”. And it added: “I wonder about this mystery, because I want to be a man”.

I've spent my entire life taking care of and wondering about the human mystery.

It's part of a bigger mystery. / Taken from La Repubblica in Albanian by The world.. I'm sorry. Periscope
