Edi Rama finally speaks for his Kosovo statement that prompted numerous reactions

In an exclusive interview for Top Channel, Prime Minister Edi Rama has clarified his statement on Kosovo's Independence Day for a joint president between Kosovo and Albania. A statement that has caused much debate.

I made no statement. A free sentence broke out of context and turned into a political programme. In the word of that case, I allowed myself to run with imagination about what Kosovo's 20th anniversary of independence might be. It's a national sport, but it's international, which breaks down a sentence from context and then becomes a story. But I guess nobody stops me from imagining. As far as articulation is concerned, how this could happen legislatively my imagination has not gone so far”, Prime Minister Rama has declared.
