A decade after, the property dispute between the Pristina municipality and the Kosovo Archbishop is resolved. The Court of Appeals has confirmed that 7655 m2 of land on the shore objects of cathedral “Mother Teresa” in Pristina, in the section of the neighborhood “Pejton”, belong to the Catholic Church. This court has dismissed the capital municipality's claims that the land does not belong to the Church, as well as the claims of the latter that there is even more than one hectare owned by it.
The business objects, which have remained in half, and the mainland property “Mother Teresa” in Pristina, located on the side of the Catholic cult's house, eventually belongs to the Kosovo Archbishop.
The Court of Appeals, it has been nearly two weeks since it ruled that 7655 m2 of former municipal property, shore of “Emperor Justinain “of the neighbourhood “Pejton”, belongs to the Kosovo Catholic Church. This College of Appeals has done it through a court of law that has confirmed the decision of the Pristina Foundation Court, which on July 21, 2015, ruled that property on the street side of Pristina's “Pytton” to the cathedral meets Idypivia.
The Court of Appeals on Tuesday has confirmed to Gazeta Express that her college has already made a decision to contest between the Pristina municipality and the Archbishop, but failing to disclose its contents.
The Kosovo Appeals Court has decided on this case. The decision will be made public after being sent to the parties in procedure”, Apel's response to the case says.
That they have no decision, Kosovo Bishop's spokesman Don Fatmir Koliqi has also indicated. “We haven't received anything official from the court concerning the” case, Pristina parish Express told.
The newspaper reports that the indictment of this case was sent by Appeals to the capital's Constitutional Court, which is obliged to distribute the document to the parties.
But, despite the fact that the parties have not yet received the full conviction, the Express newspaper has seen this Apel letter, which was sealed nearly two weeks ago.
The indictment, which has assured the newspaper, says the Court of Appeals confirms the act of Constitutional Court in Pristina on July 21st 2015.
The foundation, in its announcement, had proven that Prizren's “Apostolic Administration (Kosovo Bishop) is the bearer of the right to long-term exploitation, of the No.7355-0 driver, ZK Pristina, with a surface of 7655 m2, under contract 01.n.353-34, of the 02.07.2007, linked to the Pristina municipality”.
The same act, confirmed that the Kosovo Catholic Church is actual users of the surface in question, which extends from the northwest and west side to the “Emperor Justinjan”, on the east side of the “Bulevard Nation's Witnesses”, and on the south side with “Bill Clinton”.
Similarly, the Pristina Constitutional Court, nearly three years earlier, had rejected as groundbreaking claims of up to 1,300 hectares of land around the cathedrals “Mother Teresa” belong to the church. So, too, Appeals in this month's act has rejected the same claim of Bishop, just as he has dropped the complaint of the Pristina Community and the Public National Company, that neither the 7655 square metres of land that the Constitutional Court has recognized belong to the church.
Consequently, through its act of prejudice, the Court of Appeals tasks the Community to be led by Shpend Ahmeti that the property to be recognised by the cathedral dedicated to the Albanian saint, Mother Teresa, to allow the Kosovo Archbishop of Kosovo to register the palutability with geoodical measurements described according to the dimensions and coordinates that Pristina Foundation Court has established in its act of prejudice, writes Express.
Gurthemel for the construction of cathedral “Mother Teresa”, located in the middle of the Kosovo capital, was set in 2005 by the late former president of Ibrahim Rugova and the late Archbishop, my Lord Mark Sopi. This cult, the world's first dedicated Albanian humanist St. Mother Teresa, has been disfigured on September 5th last year, 12 years after placing the pebble, and a year after Mother Teresa was sanctified by Pope Franzescu at the Vatican.
The property in which the cathedral object is located, and even what has so far been in conflict, all up to the cornerstone met the Pristina municipality, and there was the “high school; the Dredda”, which moved into a new facility, which was inaugurated in 2010 in the district of “Pristina's” with greed.
The Express newspaper on Friday has tried to take a stand by the Pristina municipality, but it has been impossible.
