Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini has met with European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn, with whom he has talked about the visa liberalisation process for Kosovo, dialogue with Serbia, as well as the reforms Kosovo is doing in many areas.
In this case, President Wessel stressed that it is unfair for Kosovo citizens to remain the only isolated in the Balkans even after meeting the required criteria.
He added that Kosovo citizens expect the EU to be unique in terms of visa removal, as each criteria have already been met.
As for dialogue with Serbia, Chairman Veselin stressed that Kosovo is committed to reaching a final agreement that will permanently resolve all open issues and at the same time pave the way for Kosovo for membership in the European Union, O KB, NATO and other organisations.
Regarding the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force into the military, Wessel announced to commissioner Hahn that the Assembly of Kosovo would adopt laws for this on 14 December. He stressed that this decision will be an important step towards preserving peace in the Balkans, strengthening partnership with NATO.
