Albanian Alternative Chairman Nick Gilosha said that the Albanian flag has recently become a thorn in the eyes of police officials in Ulcinj and Malsi.
“
According to him, neither the police nor the courts will be able to try to intimidate and stop Albanians from using and expressing their love for their national flag.
Whatever they commit, they are unable to condemn how willing we are to pay, to protect our flag, our pride that connects Albanians everywhere. For centuries by Skenderbeu, our national flag was and remains a symbol of civilization in this region and the wider”, Gilosha said.
He has said Albanians are an autonomous people.
“We respect Montenegro as our state and the national symbols of Montenegro, we have shown this over and over again, but the hatred expressed by some institutions against the national flag of Albanians in Montenegro is a problem that is already the neuropsiattric case”, he said.
With this case we publicly invite the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Brajovic, who at the first regular session will be included on the agenda the Law on Nazi Symbols adopted by the Montenegrin Government in October 2017 and sent you to the Assembly and the proposal for amending the Law on Public Order delivered by Montenegrin Parliament Vice President Genc Nimanbegou a few days ago in parliamentary procedure”, has added it further.
Turkey has called on citizens who are being punished for loving themselves and their own flag to announce the Albanian Alternative in order to receive all the costs it can take until Albanian representatives solve this problem institutionally.
“Gilosaj concludes that Albanians must continue to use the flag, love and respect”, he said.
