The boy, who was imprisoned along with his father, lost his life shortly after midnight at the Regional Medical Centre “Gerald Champion”, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, about 145km north of the border crossing in El Paso, Texas.
He had been sent to the hospital on Monday morning after a border agent had observed disease symptoms, while the medical staff first diagnosed him with the usual cold, but then changed him into a flul form.
